Wallcovering in Public Areas
Wallcovering is generally used for two reasons. First, its durability is greater than paint. This reduces maintenance costs. Second, the available textures and patterns create visual impact beyond what paint normally provides.
Areas which are prone to harder daily use such as public corridors, kitchens, dining rooms and, sometimes, washrooms are prime candidates for wallcovering. The cost of continual paint touch up often justifies the initital cost of the wallcovering.
